Mardi Gras Cosmic Bingo at Chances Boardwalk Mission

Good Morning Everyone.

Well Chances Boardwalk Mission did it again, they had the room beautifully set up with a total Mardi Gras ambience. It was wonderful to see quite a number of players dressed in Mardi Gras attire and totally getting into the fun of the evening again!!

Chances boardwalk Mission, for those of you who do not know this yet, was where Cosmic Bingo in Canada began. And is going strong still. The players there love the game and get into the night completely. We had some visitors from New Brunswick, who I believe travelled right across our great country just to play in Cosmic Bingo!!!

We had one of those unique synchromatic events happen when two players who got Bingo and came up to the prize wall were BOTH named LINDA!! I love it when that kind of stuff happens, it is amazing how much in life we can discover has a synchronicity to other events.

We had some Cosmic Bingo Virgins who also told me they loved the night and will be there again and again and I tell you, I just cannot hear that enough!! Amber who was our manager last night was great as was the entire staff who are so incredibly supportive of Cosmic Bingo. It is really an exciting feeling to see this universal highly positive reaction from the staff members and the players.

My favourite part is to see the diverse age demographics ALL PLAYING TOGETHER and HAVING A TOTAL BLAST!!! What an AMAZING FEELING!!

We are very excited to say we will be back in September and believe it will be September 12th and the theme is a 50's Sock Hop!!! Which definitely excited the ENTIRE room so I know it will be fillled with poodle skirts and leather jackets. 

Well we are getting ready to leave to bring Cosmic Bingo to Fort St. John and Dawson Creek so come back and visit and I will share the journey with you and all that happens as we visit the Beautiful North of Beautiful BC!!!

Hawaiian Night in Chilliwack

Good morning everyone, I am getting up a little earlier than expected after a fantastic Hawaiian night at Chilliwack Bingo with Cosmic Bingo last night. It was wonderful seeing that many people got into the theme. The staff and many players came dressed in grasskirts, flower leis and other assorted hawaiin clothing. Two young guys even zipped over to walmart to get hawaiian shirts for the night which earned them a lei from me and one for their ladies too! The Amazing Rhonda herself actually had a REAL Lei made of real orchids and she looked Ravishing!!!

My first two Cosmic Bingo Groupies (both with child and all) were given each a Hawaiian bra adorned in flowers which they quickly wore. Our winning male Pajama party freind came with TWO wives last night and we had a dancing Goddess named Zelda who obviosly loved to dance but whose enthusiasm helped her win BIG last night!!!

DJ Dave and our new DJ in training Brent both adorned their Grass skirts and had a blast. Lots of laughter last night, dancing straight through to some great tunes and of course the big excitement was the wee little addition to the "O69" Jig which EVERYONE got into!!!

Our next Cosmic Bingo at Chilliwack Bingo is September 11 and I had chose a theme for it but was given an absolutely Brilliant idea from one of our players nicknamed "Khaki" who said since it is 9-11 we should do an "Emergency Services" night and have people dress up as Doctors Nurses, Firepeople or Police and I thought that was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT and so I changed it to THAT theme. THANK YOU KHAKI!!!!

Well tonight we are back in Mission and the theme for this evening is MARDI GRAS night and I am so very much looking forward to it and seeing all our great players there like Joe and Helen who really moved me at the last Cosmic Bingo in Mission, Chances Boardwalk Mission that is!!

The Cosmic Bingo in Canada Blog

Hello, I am Doktor Strange and I am very excited about creating this blog to share with all who read it my adventures with Cosmic Bingo. I plan to talk about the shows, about the people I meet and about the things that happen as Cosmic Bingo grows across our Beautiful Coountry!!

Since we began Cosmic Bingo at Chances Boardwalk Mission it has expanded to Chilliwack Bingo and I am about to head off on a mini tour up north to share it wth players in Fort St. John and Dawson Creek. I plan on sharing that adventure with you in here as well so please stay tuned.
